Legendary singer Dionne Warwick returned to her childhood elementary school in East Orange, New Jersey, to celebrate the debut of its new auditorium. The Dionne Warwick Institute of Economics and Entrepreneurship was later renamed for her. Warwick, a six-time Grammy Award winner, was present at the event to see the student choir perform two of her best-known songs, "What the World Needs Now Is Love" and "That’s What Friends Are for." The auditorium will be used for wide-ranging events, including performances by the choir. This visit comes amid a renewed interest in the singer, who recently announced that her upcoming album, DWuets, will be her last.
