Jen Shah, a Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum, revealed that she bonded with Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes during her nearly three-year prison sentence. The pair were assigned to "poop duty" together, a punishment if the cleanliness of your communal bathroom got "three strikes." This was a bonding experience that Jen and Holmes experienced during their time in prison. While they were also in the same facility as Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving 20 years for conspiracy sex trafficking crimes, Jen opted not to know her. Since their initial six-year sentence, Shah has served three of her initial six years. She and Holmes have been friends for years and have worked together on several movies.
