FAA, Pentagon sign agreement on deploying anti-drone laser system near Mexico

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Department of Public Affairs (DPA) have signed an agreement allowing the use of a high-energy laser counter-drone system near the southern border. The agreement follows a successful test in New Mexico where the laser system was used by the Pentagon and Homeland Securit Department.
