Storm System To Bring Major Weather Shift To MD: See Latest Forecast

A storm system advancing across the Plains will move into the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states on Wednesday, bringing two rounds of showers and some gusty thunderstorms to the Baltimore region. The first wave is expected to occur between midafternoon and early evening, followed by another after 5 p.m. The second wave could include thunderstorms with gusty winds, particularly west of the Blue Ridge. Once the system moves out of the state, temperatures will settle over the Baltimore area on Thursday, with high temperatures expected to only reach the mid-60s. The forecast also includes a period of cooler conditions, with temperatures predicted to reach mid-50s on Thursday.
