Tally, the CEO of the largest Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) governance platform, will shut down its operations after six years. The company, which provided on-chain governance for Arbitrum, Uniswap, ENS, and over 500 other DAOs, will be closing its operations. CEO Dennison Bertram stated that the Biden administration was better for his industry than its successor, and this was due to this. He also highlighted the decline in demand for governance tools due to regulatory threats and a growing ecosystem of decentralized applications. Bertram believes that if teams no longer believe they will be penalized for operating like traditional companies, decentralization stops being a requirement and becomes optional.
