The search for missing retired Air Force Gen. William McCasland has been hampered by an unseasonably warm spring in New Mexico. The vastness of the search area and warm temperatures in Albuquerque have hampered thermal drone search efforts, according to the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office. The 68-year-old UFO expert was last seen on February 27 by his wife, Susan, who returned from a medical appointment an hour later to find her husband had disappeared. McCaslands had previously reported experiencing a "mental fog" as a reason for stepping down from certain entities he had worked with, but investigators believe he was mentally sharp when he disappeared. His wallet, a.38 caliber revolver, and a red backpack are still missing from his home.
