China's BYD to launch new premium EV in Europe that can charge in minutes

Chinese automaker, BYD (002594.SZ), is set to launch a premium electric vehicle in Europe next month that can charge in minutes, far faster than anything currently available on the market. The Denza Z9GT model, which has a range of up to 800 km (497 miles), demonstrates the company's competitive edge over legacy European manufacturers in electric car technology. BYD will also install flash chargers across Europe, where its sales grew almost 270% last year. The company aims to become the world's No. 5 automaker by 2025.
