Actor Chadwick Boseman died from colon cancer five years after his death, aged 43, from a stage 3 diagnosis. His widow, Simone, revealed that she was initially optimistic about his health and felt confident about his recovery, but was shocked when she found out about his diagnosis in 2016. Despite initially being diagnosed with colon cancer, Chadwick fought the disease until he went into remission in 2018, but it returned to stage 4 by the end of that year.
