The Trump administration is raising concerns about America's future in NATO due to tensions with European allies over the Iran conflict. President Donald Trump suggested the U.S. could move to leave the decades-old alliance, calling it a "paper tiger" and stating that continued participation was beyond reconsideration. Secretary of State Marco Rubio echoed this sentiment, questioning the value of the alliance if European partners are unwilling to provide military support or allow the US access to key bases during a crisis. Despite this, several NATO allies, including the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain, have declined to join U.K. military efforts tied to the conflict.
