U.N. Rights Chief Urges U.S. To Finish Probe Into Deadly Iran School Strike

The U.N. Human Rights Council has called on the United States to complete its investigation into a fatal strike on a primary school in Iran, which Iran claims killed over 175 children and teachers on the first day of the regional war. The Pentagon has elevated the probe to a higher level. Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi told the council that the death of school children was unacceptable and must not be met with silence and indifference. Israel's diplomatic mission to the United Nations in Geneva criticised Iran for attacking civilians across the region. Other countries like Pakistan, China, and Britain also expressed outrage over the incident.
