JSO investigating early-morning shooting on Edgewood Avenue

Jacksonville Sheriff's Office (JSO) is investigating an early-morning shooting on Edgewood Avenue South that left one man with a gunshot wound to his leg. The incident occurred at around 3:15 a.m. on Saturday morning. The victim was reportedly approached by an unknown person who fired multiple shots at him before fleeing the scene in a dark sedan. Four individuals were detained at the scene and are being investigated for their involvement in the shooting. The shooting victim's injury was non-life-threatening.
