St. Charles man charged after alleged Molotov cocktail threat

Dustin Dauster, a 30-year-old man from St. Charles County, has been charged with two counts of second-degree terrorist threats, first-degree harassment, fourth-degree assault and resisting arrest. The charges stem from multiple threats made between Dec. 24, 2025 and April 16, 2026, which escalated over several months. The business reported that Dauster tagged them in a video showing multiple glass bottles with fabric strips resembling Molotov cocktails. Following the April 16 video threat, police and federal agents arrested Dauster in the backyard of his home. Dauster was immediately defiant and kicked at officers during his arrest.
