Milwaukee man killed in double shooting years after surviving attack that left him paralyzed

Christopher White, 38, was shot and killed late Friday night near 11th and Atkinson in Milwaukee, after surviving a shooting in 2009 that left him paralyzed. His 35-year-old caretaker was also shot but is expected to survive. The shooting occurred at White's apartment complex near 10th and Nash. His family has started a GoFundMe campaign to cover funeral costs. No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. White had been wheelchair-bound since 2009 after being shot and paralyzed.
