Stillwater's first cannabis retail location, Silver Therapeutics, is set to open its doors on April 17. The store's cannabis retail registration was approved on the Stillwater City Council's consent agenda by a 4-0 vote. Two other proposed cannabis retail locations in the city, Mango Cannabis and an unnamed shop, have preliminary approval but likely won't open for several months. The city is allowed to issue one cannabis business registration per 12,500 residents and does not apply to a medical cannabis combination business or a lower-potency hemp edible retailer.
