Amir Geovonne James, a 19-year-old man from Mebane, has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon, going armed to the terror of people, discharging a firearm in city limits, and using it to incite fear. The arrest came after a weeklong manhunt. No injuries were reported. The Alamance County Sheriff's Office, U.S. Marshals Service and the FBI also assisted in the investigation.
