Kirtland vs. Richmond Heights boys basketball: Hornets swarm back from slow start for 71-61 win, advance to D-VI state semifinal

Kirtland boys basketball team defeated Richmond Heights 71-61 in the Division VI regional final on March 13, despite a slow start and a late 3-pointer from Lucas Renfro. The Hornets then took control of the second half and advanced to the D-VI state semifinal for the second consecutive year. Kirtland's next game will be against Berlin Hiland or Portsmouth West. The win marks the third time in school history that Kirtlands has reached the state semifinals.
