Dent, Perry lead way as UCLA holds off No. 8 Michigan State despite Bilodeau's injury

UCLA defeated No. 8 Michigan State 88-84 in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals, despite losing star Tyler Bilodeau to a leg injury. Despite leading by 15 points early in the second half, UCLA managed to maintain their lead and secure a victory against No.8 Michigan State. Donovan Dent and Trent Perry scored 23 points and 12 assists respectively, while Michigan State's Brandon Williams scored a fast-break layup to make it a four-point game with 25 seconds remaining. Despite several pushes down the stretch, UCLA advanced to a semifinal match with No. 18 Purdue, which defeated Nebraska 74-58.
