The Game of Thrones movie, originally titled Game Of Thrones: Aegon's Conquest, has been officially announced as its new title. The news was made during a Warner Bros. presentation at CinemaCon. Beau Willimon, known for his work on Netflix's House of Cards and Disney+’s Andor, is writing the adaptation of the story about Aegon I Targaryen's conquest of Westeros. The movie is set to be produced by HBO and Warner Bros., which considered multiple avenues for the story. The film, which follows the events of House of the Dragon and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, is expected to be the third project to succeed the global TV hit, which concluded in 2019.
