Taj Mahal's new album, 'Time,' is set to be released on May 1. The title track was written by the late Bill Withers, but was never recorded by him. The record executive Steve Berkowitz brought the song to Mahal’s attention and he secured the blessing of Wither's widow to release it after her death in 2020. Mahal credits his success to the Phantom Blues Band, which backs him on the new album. He has released over 60 albums throughout his career. Despite his differences in career and career, Mahal maintains his focus on music and business. He believes that he is always putting out music that he thinks people could use.
