Trump signs memo directing DHS to pay all employees during shutdown

President Donald Trump has directed the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to pay all of its employees during the nearly 50-day shutdown. This follows a similar directive last week that was directed to pay out the remaining 35,000 employees of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Coast Guard, and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. The funds for these employees have started to be paid out this week.
