The Illinois State Board of Elections has released the final vote totals for the March 17 primary election in La Salle, Bureau and Putnam county. Voters voted on statewide, judicial, statehouse, and county-level races. The winners will go on to the November ballot. Incumbent Sue Rezin ran for reelection unopposed and Ernie R. Marcelain ran unoppested for the Democratic nomination. No Democrats were on the ballot for the Republican nomination. Meanwhile, incumbent Ryan Spain and incumbent Bradley Fritts ran for the Democrat nomination and were uncontested for both the Republican and Democrat nominations respectively. No LaSalle County Board races were contested in the primary.
