Some potential 2028 Democratic presidential candidates are openly documenting their difficult childhoods in their books, "Where We Keep the Light," and "Young Man in a Hurry." These politicians have been particularly candid about their difficult relationships with their parents, particularly with Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, and Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker.
