Severe storms target Middle Tennessee Friday through Monday

The first chance of severe weather is expected to occur Friday afternoon and evening, with strong winds forecasting the potential impact of the St. Jude Rock 'N Roll Marathon. The Storm Prediction Center has placed much of Tennessee in a level 2 out of 5 risk zone for severe weather. The good news for the drought-stricken state is that the region could receive anywhere between 2 to 3 inches of rain through Monday.
