A woman, Keisha Kennedy, has pleaded guilty to three counts of Medicaid fraud. The charges stem from false claims that she had hired a worker to care for her disabled child. An investigation by the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit found that Kennedy submitted fraudulent billing for medical services never provided to the child. She has been placed on two years of active supervised probation and must pay $404.75 in court costs, $5,000 in prosecution costs, and $100 per cent in monthly probation fees.
