The Department of War is reportedly feuding with the press over "unflattering" photos of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. As a result, several news organizations' photographers have been barred from attending briefings about the ongoing U.S.-Israeli military conflict with Iran. The photos were reportedly published after Hegsetsh's first briefing on the matter on March 2, just days after a joint military strike on Iran. Once the photos were published, members of His staff reportedly took issue with how he looked, leading to the subsequent ban. The Pentagon has since allowed one representative per news outlet to attend these briefings, and has encouraged the media to apply for a Pentagon press credential.
