The World Health Organization (WHO) has evacuated a Tehran hospital after explosions occurred nearby. The WHO is working to verify reports that three other medical centres in the country have been hit since the start of the U.S.-Israeli air war against Iran on February 28. The Iranian ambassador to the United Nations, Ali Bahreini, stated that hospitals have been subjected to "indiscriminate attacks". The WHO has a country office in Iran and works with the government on health emergencies and disease control.
