Russia's embassy in Turkmenistan has announced that Russians unable to leave Iran can leave via the country's 1,148-kilometre border with Iran. The embassy stated that those seeking to leave could register with the Russian embassy in Tehran. The country has one of the world's strictest visa policies, allowing for the evacuation of foreigners during the Iran-Russia war.
