Chen Liqun, vice chair of the Chinese Democratic Party National Committee and chair of The Chinese Alliance for Democracy, attended Shen Yun's second local performance on March 26 at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City. She commended the performance for its harmonious and coordinated performances, and called it a "fatal blow to the Chinese Communist Party". Chen also expressed pride that the performance showcased traditional Chinese culture on the global stage at a world-renowned venue like Lincoln Center. She encouraged more people to see Shen Yun and urged the artists to continue promoting their work.
