Albuquerque police have charged 31-year-old Cecilio Lopez with murder in the death of Roman Valenciano, who was driving to pick up his mother after work when he was shot. Surveillance footage showed a silver Ford Mustang turning into Valencia's path and pulling over the Nissan. Police used license-plate readers to track down the car and found Lopez was on probation for a previous felony conviction. He has been charged with murder, other charges including tampering with evidence, shooting at or from a motor vehicle resulting in death.
