Lucasfilm has released a new official trailer for its upcoming Disney+ animated series, Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, which is set after the events of The Clone Wars and follows Maul as he rebuilds his criminal syndicate and attempts to recruit a disillusioned Jedi survivor. The series, featuring a large voice cast led by fan-favorite Sam Witwer, premieres with its first two episodes on April 6. The project, created by Lucasfilm Chief Creative Officer Dave Filoni, promises heavy-hitting lightsaber combat and Force action that will push the boundaries of Star Wars animation.
