Mercedes' CEO, Toto Wolff, has dismissed speculation about the championship status of 19-year-old Italian driver, Kimi Antonelli, following his first Formula One grand prix win in China. Despite acknowledging his inexperience, Wolff said it is too early for championship talk due to his young age. He also mentioned mistakes made by Antonell during the race, which Wolff attributed to his driver's tendency to set faster and faster laps even when victory was almost assured. Wolff also expressed his admiration for the talent and maturity of the young driver. He did not anticipate a repeat of the fierce rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg during their time at Mercedes.
