Legendary Las Vegas steakhouse, Golden Steer, has been introduced to Greenwich Village, bringing the glitz and glamour to the building formerly occupied by Marc Forgione’s Trattoria One Fifth. The restaurant, established in 1958, has a distinctive old-school vibe, featuring a collection of cherrywoods and curved booths, and prime cuts of the good stuff. The steakhouse's "Famous Caesar Salad" is a highlight of the experience, with the steaks being the main draw. However, the crust of the lobster and petite filet combo was criticized for falling apart too easily and tasting like ash.
