Netflix and Legendary Pictures have begun production on their live-action Gundam movie, adding six new cast members to the cast including Jackson White, Nonso Anozie, Javon Walton, and Ida Brooke. The film is set to be produced by Legendary Pictures in partnership with Bandai Namco Filmworks and will be the first in live action. Sydney Sweeney and Noah Centineo will lead the cast, which also includes Shioli Kutsuna, Michael Mando, and Gemma Chua-Tran. The movie follows rival mech pilots fighting on opposing sides of a decades-long war between Earth and its former space colonies.
