Apple hires Google exec to lead AI marketing

Apple has hired Google executive Lilian Rincon to lead its AI product marketing team, overseeing a major overhaul of its Siri assistant. Rincon will report to Greg Joswiak, Apple's senior VP of worldwide product marketing. The company is also working on a multi-year partnership with Google to run Google's Gemini models from its own devices and servers. The hiring follows the departure of Amar Subramanya, who previously worked with Microsoft and Google.
