The United Nations has warned that the ongoing conflict in Lebanon will result in death, injuries, and displacement. The conflict began when Hezbollah opened fire on Israel, aiming to avenge Iran's supreme leader. Since then, Israel has responded with an offensive that has killed more than 800 people and displaced over 800,000. The U.S. government has reported that nearly a fifth of those living in Lebanon are now registered as displaced.
