Apple has launched two new value-focused MacBook options for consumers on a budget. The MacBook Neo is Apple's new lowest-cost MacBook, replacing the MacBook Air as the entry-level MacBook option. The new model uses Apple Silicon, a chip designed for the iPhone and iPad, and replaces the Air. Despite some differences in appearance and size, the MacBook Neo still uses an aluminum casing and uses an in-bezel camera instead of using the notch. The lowest-capacity model doesn't have Touch ID on the Magic Keyboard, while the upper-capacity versions and the Air models all do. Both models feature a 13-inch display and a 16-core Neural Engine. Both display types support a billion colors, with the Neo having sRGB color and Air using Wide Color (P3) support and True Tone.
