Epic Games and Google have signed a special deal for a new class of'metaverse browsers' called "metroverse browsers", according to a revised binding term sheet. The companies have been linked to the concept of the metaverse, although the term has largely fallen out of favor with some in favor of AI. The redactions in the revised term sheet cover up many of the key details about what a metaverse browser actually is, including the name of the browser. In a blog post about the changes, Epic also mentioned that Google will take steps to support the future open metaverse.
