The City of Clovis is planning community events to celebrate the United States' 250th anniversary on March 26, 2026. The City of Fresno, the Clovises Veterans Memorial District and the Fresno City & County Historical Society have announced plans for multiple community events. The events will also commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Memorial District. The celebrations will include education, storytelling, celebrations, dedications, memorials and festivities throughout the year. The Clovish Chamber of Commerce plans to feature America 250-themed merchandise and messaging during Big Hat Days in April and September.
