Transpetro expands shipping clients beyond Petrobras, signs deals with Trafigura, Ipiranga

Brazilian oil and gas transportation company, Transpetro, has signed deals with Trafigura, Ipiranga and Petrobras. The move allows the company to charter vessels and provide services for both coastal and long-haul routes. The company, which previously provided sea transportation for the company, has restructured operations to offer services to private-sector clients. Under its agreement with Tramandura, TransPetro has already completed an international shipment of oil products. The firm plans to proceed cautiously with early discussions with potential clients.
