A Belgian court has postponed its decision on a lawsuit against Total Energy Corporation (Pioneering) regarding climate change. The case involves a farmer who farms a herd of cattle in the municipality of Lessines, western Belgium, who had demanded compensation for climate damage. The court also ordered Total to halt investments in new fossil fuel projects.
