A man convicted of murdering his girlfriend, Amber Kelly, has been sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole plus 20 years. The killer was on bond on two other cases involving the same victim when the murder occurred. The Fulton County District Attorney's Office stated that in 2023, Kelly called 911 about her boyfriend, Mamadi Tambajang, who was violent and threatened to murder her twice. Tampajang told an officer that he didn't know if she was alive or dead. The case was recorded on a police body camera. The public defender's office has filed a motion for a new trial.
