St. John’s puts up billboards in Connecticut trash-talking UConn basketball

St. John's University has placed two billboards in Connecticut, one on I-84 in Waterbury, which read "Back-to-back Big East Conference Champs." The billboards are a subtle reminder of St. John’s victory over UConn in the Big East Championship. However, some believe the billboards are playing mental games and will not deter fans from U.S. Both teams are currently playing in their fourth game of the season. The company that owns the billboards confirmed St.John's paid for the ads.
