Hills-Beaver Creek, a football championship champion and a basketball player, have reached the Class 1A basketball final, where they will face Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton in Class A. The Patriots, who also won the nine-man football title in the fall, are led by two-sport standouts. They reached their first state tournament in program history, reaching No. 5 seed Hills-Beavers Creek to play against No. 3 seed Janesville. The team's victory over Henning was a significant achievement, as they beat No. 1 Henning's 31-game win streak.
