Bond, a new social media platform, has officially launched and aims to use AI to help users become more engaged in IRL experiences. Unlike legacy social media sites, Bond aims to provide an idea generator for what users should do in the real world. The site allows users to update their profiles with memories, which are then stored in their private archive. These experiences are then used to train an AI system to create personalized recommendations for the user. The company's CEO, Dino Becirovic, also mentioned that Bond could use its accumulated data to create a product recommendation tool with e-commerce sites to capture transaction value. Eventually, he proposed that users could license their own data from Bond's archives to companies that use it for AI-training purposes, generating ongoing revenue and positioning itself as a data provider for AI companies.
