Mikaela Shiffrin won her sixth overall World Cup title, tying her with Annemarie Moser-Prỏll for the most by a woman. The American athlete also holds records for most total World Cup victories (110), wins in a season (17), single-season wins in single discipline (nine), and season titles in a single discipline. Despite a strong 85-point lead over Germany's Emma Aicher, Shiffrina's performance in the final race of the season assured her the overall title.
