Suspected impaired driver arrested after crash kills Ponchatoula woman, troopers say

A suspected impaired driver, 38-year-old Holly M. Williams, has been arrested after allegedly crossing the center lane of a highway in St. Tammany Parish and killing another driver in a head-on collision. The crash, which occurred on Louisiana Hwy. 1085, left Jessica G. Cannatella of Ponchatoula with serious injuries and later died. Williams was hospitalized with moderate injuries and will be booked with charges of vehicular homicide, vehicular negligent injuring, driving while intoxicated (third offense), careless operation of a motor vehicle, and using a fake motor vehicle inspection sticker.
