Severe winds swept through Mannsville late Tuesday night, damaging power lines, tree branches, and roofing materials across the town. As of Wednesday afternoon, some residents were still without power due to the strong winds. The public school also sustained significant damage, with the roof shifting, causing bricks to fall and limbs to be scattered across the grounds. Oklahoma State Superintendent Lindel Fields visited the school to assess the situation and offered assistance for students to continue their education while the building is out of service. No injuries were reported.
