Dutch Tesla owner, Mischa Sigtermans, who launched a collective claim against Tesla over Full Self-Driving (FSD) on HW3 cars, has been waiting for FSD for 7 years and paid €6,400 for it, but Tesla's response was "just be patient". This response is seen as an almost comically tone-deaf response by the company, which is likely to exacerbate the growing legal pressure in Europe. The Dutch vehicle authority RDW recently granted Tesla type approval for the FSD Supervised, the first in the EU, but the approved build only runs on Tesla’s newer AI4 computer. Tesla has promised a stripped-down “L Lite” version of the system, but this is not the same version of a system that was sold in Q2 2026. The company has not provided a concrete timeline for this, nor has provided any concrete plans for this.
