US officials release video of White House dinner attack

The video footage of an attack at a gala attended by US President Donald Trump has been released by US authorities. The footage, which was provided to the courts, shows the alleged shooter, Cole Allen, who was overpowered by security forces and was seen walking through a security checkpoint and shooting a Secret Service officer. The video was released to demonstrate there is no evidence that the shooting was caused by friendly fire.
