The concept of glamping became mainstream during the post-pandemic travel boom, driven by demand for affordable stays and alternatives to crowded hotels. Postcard Cabins' Beaver Creek outpost in Lisbon, Ohio, offers dozens of tiny cabins that are approximately 150 square feet and include a queen bed or bunks, a private bathroom with showers and basic toiletries, and a kitchenette with a stovetop, mini fridge and cookware. The cabins also feature heat, A/C, electricity, running water, fresh linens, and large windows facing the woods. The property includes over three dozen standalone cabins and rates typically range from $150-$200 per night. The industry's U.S. market is expected to grow from $561 million in 2023 to $1.3 billion by 2029, according to Arizton research.
